President Donald Trump’s visit to a Dearborn Ford auto plant last week got a lot of attention when an autoworker screamed “pedophile protector.” Trump responded with a finger and “fuck you.” The autoworker was suspended, but two GoFundMe campaigns raised more than $800,000 for him.

Now comes another little controversy stemming from his appearance.

The New York Times reports:

Moments after Trump taped a 13-minute interview at the plant with the “CBS Evening News” anchor Tony Dokoupil, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt approached Mr. Dokoupil to convey a message from the president.

“He said, ‘Make sure you guys don’t cut the tape, make sure the interview is out in full,’” Leavitt said, according to a recording of the exchange obtained by The New York Times.

“Yeah, we’re doing it, yeah,” Mr. Dokoupil responded.

Ms. Leavitt replied: “He said, ‘If it’s not out in full, we’ll sue your ass off.’”

Leavitt later told The Times: “The American people deserve to watch President Trump’s full interviews, unedited, no cuts. And guess what? The interview ran in full.”
